BluePieApps

Bluetooth apps for Raspberry Pi and Linux devices

Configure, Control, Monitor
From your phone

No Wi-Fi required.

Use a phone or tablet with only Bluetooth to control and display feedback from Raspberry Pi and Linux-based devices.

Apps

Two ways to put Bluetooth to work

Real-time control over Bluetooth

BLEControlsPi

Turn your phone or tablet into a control panel for Raspberry Pi.

Create buttons, toggles, sliders, pickers, gauges and text displays, then link them to actions and data on your Raspberry Pi. Control and monitor your device in real time over BLE without Wi-Fi.

Custom controls Gauges & dashboards Python handlers

The companion Python code is free and open source and has been tested on Raspberry Pi OS (Debian), Armbian and Ubuntu.

For product developers

Building a Raspberry Pi product? Need your own Branded App?

Add our BLEConnect library into your app.

  • Get your own branded Set-Wifi app: Your customers set the wifi upon purchase of your product.
  • Or build a branded app to control and/or monitor your Raspberry Pi/linux-based product.

Native Bluetooth

Built directly on the iOS and Android Bluetooth frameworks - not a third party library.

Logical data channels

Exchange application-level text messages over BLE while the library handles the underlying Bluetooth communications.

Swift + Kotlin

Native iOS/Swift and Android/Kotlin applications. Standard Views (SwiftUI or JetPack Compose) are available.

Raspberry Pi side included

MIT Licensed BLEConnectRouter Python library runs on the Raspberry Pi. SystemD service included.

Separate Python Processes

Import 0MQ BLEConnectRouter module for your separate Python Processes. These are your inbound Message Handlers. Library supports outbound messages too.

Easy Install

Bash Script provided to install all necessary Python code and dependencies.
